My name is Ivan Ocampo, I’m an Australian-based PhD Student, a coffee addict and an IT geek. I work across technology, machine learning and data science. While I use Python in every-day life, I created this blog to have an incentive to regularly explore other types of analyses and other types of data that I don’t normally work with. Particularly innovative design and out-of-the-box cybersecurity approaches and design recommendations.
I have also very often benefited from other people’s published code in that it gave me ideas for my own work; and I hope that sharing my own analyses will inspire others as much as I often am by what can be be done with data. It’s amazing to me what can be learned from analysing, visualising and managing data!
My work focuses on creatively engaging organisations to realise their potential through emergent technologies.
I am interested in cybersecurity, innovative technologies, and social relations. Particularly, I am driven by the question of how can technology support business growth by forming identity and functioning cohesive teams.
I am interested in evidence-based design, researching how job demands and resources can impact the remote office. Understanding the complexities of technological perceptions and their relationship with team building across remote locations informs this work.
